The cover is aimed at:

• Accountants

• Architects

• Dentists

• Doctors

• Graphic design and marketing firms

• Insurance brokers

• IT and computing consultancies

• Solicitors

• Surveyors

• Homeworkers

The cover isn’t aimed at consumers or firms with more than 10 premises. And it’s not suitable for those who only need the optional add-ons.

Preferred risks

We prefer to insure:

• Fully-occupied premises used only by the business or other offices

• Standard construction buildings

• Up to £5 million of buildings cover for premises

• Up to £2.5 million for contents including computer equipment

• Firms with less than 3 claims in the past 5 years

• Companies without previous flood or subsidence claims

Non-preferred risks

We prefer not to cover:

• Portfolios with more than 10 premises

• Individual property damage exposure greater than £5 million

• Individual business interruption exposure greater than £5 million

• Firms with mostly unoccupied premises

• Premises without self-contained access

• Staff carrying out manual work away from the premises
